o 1004.2.4, Separation of exits or exit- access, approved per section 104.2.8 of O.S.S.C., for the
— 1L above referenced tenant improvement.

We propose demolition of some existing walls on the fourth floor of the Two Lincoln
Building. The resulting area is approximately 3,367 SF, requiring two exits. The building is
o six stories, Type I -B, fully sprinklered with an automatic smoke detection system in the
— o corridors.

As you can see from Attachment A, the existing exit door is separated from the new exit door
by approximately 38' -9 ", which is approximately 9' -4" less than the required separation
VD • F distance of approximately 48' -1" (one -half the diagonal distance of approximately 96' -2 ").
Evaluation of this condition under IBC, Section 1014.2.1, Exception 2, would allow for this
configuration of exits. The required separation would be approximately32' -1" (one -third the
