Atrium Roof Replacement Specifications

1. Setup all required safety precautions as outlined in our site - specific plan prior to job

R� 2. Remove the existing concrete paver and set aside for reinstallation near the

completion of the project.
iL i 3. Vacuum the pea gravel from the roof to create a clean worksite and minimize the
32 dust created when removing the existing roofing. Please note: This will be
completed after normal business hours or on the weekend.
kffel 4. Tear off the existing roof and sheet metal materials down to the last removable layer
and dispose of off site. Note: Any dry rotted or otherwise damaged decking found
1 will be replaced at $75.00 a hr. plus materials and 15 % overhead and profit, billed in
addition to the sum of this contract.
1 0' 5. Furnish and install new 3/8" Fanfold high- density insulation recover board over the
lightweight concrete and mechanically attach with screws and 3" steel plates.
6. Furnish and install new GAF EverGuard 60 mil TPO heat welded mechanically
attached single membrane system (white or gray).
7. Field wrap all hand rail posts for a water tight seal.
f 8. Furnish and install new base flashings on all curbs and walls. The membrane will turn
up and over the top to the outside of the wall when ever possible creating a
watertight condition prior to the installation of the new sheet metal cap.
9. Furnish and install new factory TPO pipe boots flashings whenever possible. Field
