Mechanical ventilation systems shall be permitted to operate intermittently where the system is arranged to operate automatically upon detection of vehicle operation or the presence of occupants by approved automatic detection devices. OMSC 404.1 2. The State of Oregon prohibits the installation of thermostats that contain mercury in commercial and residential buildings.
