The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2004 edition; the State of Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC) 2005 edition and the
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99 -01) 1999 edition. The submitted plans
have been reviewed and the following information is required prior to issuance of the permit.
1. Provide calculations for posts, beams, and footings under all girder point loads.
Designate on the calculations where the member is located.
2. The stairway does not meet the maximum tread depth difference allowed by R311.5.3.2.
3. Please show smoke detectors on the plan where they are required.
4. Designate which energy path will be used and show it's components on a cross section.
5. Provide calculations for the 7x11 '/a paralam and the footings under each end. The
exterior expanded footing is not sized.
6. The MSTC40 straps required by the engineer across the nook to drag shear across is
missing from the plan sheet.
7. Please revise necessary plan sheets.
8. Provide an itemized reponse to this letter designating how each item is addressed.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.
