Dear Gary,
For your convenience, I have included a copy of the Oregon Administrative
Rules, Chapter 918 regarding 918- 271 -0020 "Request for Inspection and
Notice of Results ". Per the Rules (4) (B), the burden of proof is on the person
requesting the electrical inspection to prove that a written request was
communicated. Enclosed find a copy of the Faxed Inspection Request
Confirmation to Automated System Confirmation #030123 and the Message
Confirmation date and time that it was sent. Frahler Electric Company has
fulfilled our obligation to the Rules.
918 -271 -0020 (3) (c) is also specific on the obligations of the Inspecting
Jurisdiction ... (A), (B), (C), or (D). I notice a handwritten note regarding a
phone call made, but there is no recollection by Adam or Sandy Harrison to this
call nor was there a written correction received.
Frahler Electric Company will not be reinstating this permit. However, if you
would like to stop by the project, you will find an integral switch in the UL
approved gate opener that would satisfy the code requirements.
