The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2007edition; and the State of Oregon Fire Code (OFC) 2007edition. The submitted plans are
approved subject to the following conditions.
1) Please provide an updated code summary for this project addressing the area limitations
for the occupancy and type of construction per OSSC chapter 5.
2) Please provide a listed assembly for the exterior wall required to have a two hour rating
where having a fire separation distance of less than 5' on the front portion of the East
wall and a one hour rating where between 5' and 10' on the back portion of the East
wall. OSSC Table 602
3) Please clarify the discrepancies in relation to the egress ramp at exit door 105E between
detail 8 /A1.1 and detail 4/S1.1. Also, please identify the slope of the ramp and address
edge protection requirements of OSSC 1109.7.7.
4) Please complete and submit a building survey form and a fire flow worksheet located at
www.tvfr.com/ Dept /fm /brochures /index.htm. The number of hydrants provided has
already been determined to be adequate but an updated flow test will be required to
show adequate water supply for the additional square footage. OFC 102
