The submitted plans have been reviewed and the following information is required prior to issuance of the permit. 1. There is no prescriptive method of construction for a 4' retaining wall supporting a surcharge as shown on sheet A -2. Please provide calculations and details for the wall prepared by an engineer licensed to practice in the State of Oregon. 2. The foundation shown in detail 5 on sheet A -5 does not meet the prescriptive requirements of tables R404.1.1(2), (3), or (4). Please revise plans to meet prescriptive requirements or provide calculations and details for the wall prepared by an engineer licensed to practice in the State of Oregon. 3. The portal frame detail shown on sheet A -5 does not match the conditions shown on the plans. Please revise the plans to show portal frame details utilizing a structural intermediate panel. From Interpretive ruling No. 97 -1. 4. No Brace panel is shown at the front left side of the lower level at the storage /mechanical room. Please revise the plans to meet the requirements of R 602.10.11. 5. IBP notes on sheet A -5 specify attachment of gypsum with screws. Method 5 per R602.10.5 only allows nails. Please revise to meet the requirements of R602.10.5. 6. IBP notes on sheet A -5 do not refer to the current code in effect for 1 and 2 family dwellings. Please revise to specify and meet the requirements of the current ORSC. 7. The spacing between the lower floor braced wall lines exceeds 35' as required by R602.10.1.1.
