The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2004 edition; the State of Oregon Residential Specialty Code ORSC) 2005 edition and the
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99 -01) 1999 edition. The submitted plans
have been reviewed and the following information is required prior to completion of the review.
1. The roof and ceiling construction shall be capable of accommodating all loads imposed
and of transmitting the resulting loads to the supporting structural elements R801.2- On
page G11 of the Full lateral and gravity analysis provided, b46 is named, on G12 it is
listed as a girder. On the left elevation it is apparent there is no girder truss here; this
would have to be a beam. Please design a beam to carry the resulting loads and make any
necessary revisions to other structural elements involved. These revisions can be faxed to

When submitting revisions or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City
of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in tracking
and processing the documents.
