KIT INCLUDES TOOLS NEEDED
• Top metal channel (1.68 "H x 1.27 "W has holes along • Drill
top and one side) • #2 Philips bit
• Bottom metal channel (1.4 "H x 1.27 "W holes on • 1/2" drill bit
the top only) • 5/16" socket bit
• Eon top rail
• Eon bottom rail
• Eon baluster x14
• Hardware Ki' (small brackets x2, large brackets x2,
1" baluster screws x14, Hex metal screws x8 and
1 1/2" wood screws x8)
• Post kit includes post sleeve, collar and cap adapter
(cap peak so d separately)
INSTALLATION GUIDE EFFECTIVE 2007
INSTALLAT ON STEPS
• Attach a sm•II bracket to each end of the bottom
metal channe using 2 Hex metal screws each. (The
bracket shoul• extend away from the channel). (FIG. 1)
• Slide Eon boi om rail onto metal channel (open side
of channel f•cing up). (FIG. 2)
• Slide Eon poet sleeve over lumber post.
• Attach botto rail assembly to the posts. The top
of the botto rail assembly should be 5.5" from
the deck sur ace. Ensure bottom rail is level. (FIG. 3)
Note: Blocks precut to 3.37 can be use° to
support the ailing while installing to achieve the

• Insert balust-rs into the top metal channel lining

• Slide Eon to• rail onto top metal channel. (FIG. 6)
• Line up the Balusters with the holes in the bottom
rail and dro• into place. (FIG. 7)
• Tap with a r bber mallet to ensure balusters are f f
completely i serted r f�
• Attach the •p railing to the post using 2 wood �~
screws in ea h bracket. (FIG. 8) r .
• Install post ollar. (FIG. 9)
• Apply a silic.ne bead 3/16" inside the post cap
peak and fa .ten to cap adapter. FIG. 2
• Apply a sili •ne bead 3/16" inside the cap adapter
and fasten t. post sleeve.
