Subject: City of Tigard -- Sewer Connection Permit #SWR93 -0335
As promised, this letter is the written follow -up to our telephone
conversation this morning regarding the above referenced sewer
connection permit. I have also enclosed a copy of it for your
information.
The two primary issues regarding this permit are as follows. First, as
noted on the permit, the property is located in unincorporated
Washington County rather than the City of Tigard. Che intergovernmental
agreement between Tigard and the Agency specifies that the jurisdiction
in which the property is located shall issue the permit. It does not
refer to the jurisdiction responsible for the line to which connection
is made. Second, the permit is for the sanitary sewer systems
development charge only. It does not include the issuance of a surface
water management (SWM) system development charge (SDC) permit.
As we concluded and agreed, respective members of our permit staffs will
discuss the best method of correcting both the permit that was issued
and the issuance of the SWM SDC permit.
