The first item is the only work that may need to wait for drier weather to be able to compact the soil at the edge of the concrete. However, as mentioned on the punch list, it is their choice as ODOT will not be responsible for any safety issues involving the vertical edges along the sidewalk. I still have not received any word as to how they want to provide a maintenance bond. Hopefully tomorrow I can smoke that out of them, I still have their performance bond that I can retain. If all is good for you, I don't have an issue with issuing temporary occupancy until all work is complete. FYI, I will be on furlough this Friday and vacation next Monday and Tuesday.
