Re: Extension of Permit #MST97 -0214
Dear Mr. Bui,
I am in receipt of your letter of November 4, 1998, requesting you be given an
extension of permit #MST97 -0214.
Review of our records indicate that your last inspection was on September 18, 1997.
Approximately March 18, 1998, the permit expired by limitation and cannot be extended
(Section 111.3.1 Oregon State One and Two Family Dwelling Code). Then, on
September 18, 1998, the permit had been expired for greater than 180 days and cannot
be renewed for one half the permit fee (Section 111.3.2). This section also requires
new application and payment of full permit fees.
Since your last inspection was for drywall nailing, and is close to the final inspection
phase, you will be allowed 30 (thirty) days from the date of this letter to finish work, call
for final inspection and have all inspections approved.
If you do not comply with the above requirements for final inspection approval by
December 11, 1998, you must obtain a new permit as stated above or this case will be
forwarded to the Code Enforcement Officer.
