The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) 2004
edition and 2004 Oregon Fire Code as amended by TVF &R. The submitted plans are approved
subject to the following conditions.
Approval is for structural and Fire Life Safety elements only. Electrical plans and piping diagrams
shown are included for reference only.
Approval of these plans does not exempt the requirements of the OSSC. Any items discovered to
be non compliant by the Special inspector, City of Tigard Building Inspector, or the contractor
must be brought into compliance with the OSSC.
Special Inspection: Special inspection is required for concrete, reinforcing steel, bolting, bolts in
concrete, structural steel fabrication, welding and erection, adhesive and expansion anchor
installation. The special inspection agency of record shall furnish inspection reports to the Engineer of
Record, Peterson Structural Engineers, the General Contractor, and the City of Tigard, Building
Division, attention Hap Watkins. All discrepancies shall be brought to the immediate attention of the
general contractor for correction. The special inspector shall submit a final signed report stating whether
the work requiring special inspection was, to the best of the inspector's knowledge, in conformance with
the approved plans and specifications and the applicable workmanship provisions of the code. 1704, 1705,

Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall be maintained
on the jobsite. The plans shall be available to the Building Division inspectors throughout all phases of
construction. 106.3.1 OSSC
Premises Identification: Approved numbers or addresses shall be provided for all new buildings in such
a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road fronting the property.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the enclosed City of
Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in tracking and
processing the documents.
