Correspondence January 27, 1999 / dilly, i ,, .1111 Tim and Pat Scanlan FILE COPY ant OF 'TIG 15045 SW 79th Ave. OREGON Tigard, OR 97224 Re: Request for extension of permits. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Scanlan, I received your request for permit extensions this morning, and have extended permits SWR97 -0400 and PLM97 -0447 for a period of 180 days from today. As for transferring these permits to another party (future owners), it cannot be done while you are still the owners. Oregon Administrative Rules states that a plumbing permit may not be issued (in this case registered) on a single family dwelling unless it is to the owner or a licensed plumber. Therefore, I suggest that the future owners be advised of this and that they may come to the Building Department at City Hall and submit a request for revision to the permits to name them the owners after closing. A copy of the final closing documents will suffice as to showing ownership. We will use your letter of January 25, 1999, paragraph one, subparagraph three as permission from you to use those fees already paid by you to apply to the revised permits with new owners. I spoke with Brian Rager this morning, and he said that the fees and bond for permit ENG97 -0060 would be refunded to you. John Hagman, Engineering Department ext. 374, will be handling this. Give him a few days before checking on progress of the refund. Please advise the new owners that they must obtain a street opening permit in their name before commencing work to tie in the sewer line. • If I can assist you further, please call 639 -4171 ext. 416. Sincerely, oma Darrel "Hap" Watkins Inspection Supervisor cc: Brian Rager, Development Engineer Permanent Address File • 13125 SW Hall Blvd., Tigard, OR 97223 (503) 639 -4171 TDD (503) 684 -2772 <y { -}-'r - s2s A, ^ { , r y t is r k x ,.C . } ry 3 5 /VOW - +.. ° St ,., ' . -v -
