The plan review was performed under the 2005 Oregon Residential Specialty Code the review of
the submitted plans will be completed when the following information is provided.
1. Provide a detail showing the firewall extending to the roof sheathing per R317.1.
2. Provider a detail of the plumbing in the fire wall complying with R317.3
3. Please designate which energy path is being utilized Table NI 104.1(1).
4. Provide the listing of the fire rated door separating the accessory dwelling unit from
the primary dwelling.
5. The GA -600 FC 5406 is not used with I joists as are shown on the plan. Provide a
revised sheet showing the assembly which is meant to be utilized with I joists.
6. The GA -600 WP 3330 shows incorrect, and incomplete fastener information,
provide a revision with correct information on the detail.
7. When responding, provide an itemized letter stating in what way each issue has been
addressed in the revision. Provide two copies of any revisions made.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
enclosed City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of
Tigard in tracking and processing the documents.

Response: Revised Detail D3, Page D1 to extend wall construction to the
roof sheathing
2. Provider a detail of the plumbing in the fire wall complying with R317.3
3. Response: Add notes on Page Al to note non - combustible materials to be
used in all plumbing.
4. Please designate which energy path is being utilized Table N1104.1(1).
Response: Path 1 is being utilized.
5. Provide the listing of the fire rated door separating the accessory dwelling unit from
the primary dwelling.
Response: On Al, UL -10B has been added to the fire door requirements
6. The GA -600 FC 5406 is not used with I joists as are shown on the plan. Provide a
revised sheet showing the assembly which is meant to be utilized with I joists.
Response: This detail has been removed and superseded by item 1 of this
list
7. The GA -600 WP 3330 shows incorrect, and incomplete fastener information,
provide a revision with correct information on the detail.
Response: Detail D3 on D1 has been revised to depict the use of nails.
