Approximate eight feet of wall had been completed at the time of my review. No concerns were observed. I did not look at the additions that were done. I did inform the owner that all electrical work would be required to be permitted and inspected as well as any structural as required after the sheet rock was removed. If other work was done that requires a permit, we will also need to get this taken care of. I am copying Rick on this email in case we need to get him involved with the structural code enforcement on this site. I've visited the place Oct. 29, 2010 and found several wiring installations done outside of the house due to the fact he has added several rooms to the back of the home, again without permits. The wiring in these additions is not to code. I've checked our records and found no permits issued to this address. The owner called on 11/2/2010 but I was not here to talk to him. I called him back on 11/3/2010 but he was not in. I will inform you when we receive a permit application for the work done and repair of the fire damaged wiring.
