01- 13 -03: As requested by Howard S Wright, CTI representative was on site to inspect epoxy
procedures and the following was noted:
Contractor epoxied (4) 7/8" x 9" all thread rods for the hardy shear panel holddowns. Two rods
were installed at each ends.
Holes were drilled 1" x 5 1 /2 ", and were thoroughly cleaned. Epcon C6 epoxy was injected and
all thread rods were installed in conformance with approved project drawings.
Epcon C6 was used in conformance with ICBO ER -4285. Epoxy had batch # EONR 70437 with
expiration date of 1/2004.

specifications, approved change orders and applicable workmanship provisions of the State Building Code
and Standards, as well as the structural engineer's design changes, approvals and verbal instructions.

A structural observation visit was made to review framing of the new dryer room. This
room is a rectangular- shaped room approximately 10 feet wide with doors on each end.
Framing of the room is cold formed metal studs and joists.
At the time of my visit, rough framing of the room was complete. Sheathing had been
applied to the top of the ceiling joists and along the long sides of the room. Hardy
panels had been installed on each end of the room. The top mechanical unit had not
yet been placed.
Construction appeared to be in good order and per plans and specifications.
