We are pleased to submit this geotechnical letter of compliance for the 72n Avenue Office
Building project located at 13535 SW 72"d Avenue in Tigard, Oregon. Our work was
completed in general accordance with our proposal for construction monitoring services
dated July 20, 2000.
Earthwork for the project began in October of 2000. During construction, we observed
stripping of the building pad and parking lot areas; footing and slab subgrade preparation;
placement and compaction of structural fill; proof rolls of the parking lot and roadway
subgrade and baserock; and density testing of asphalt concrete parking areas and roadways.
Copies of our field reports were sent to you previously and are on file in our office.
Our services were provided on a part-time, on -call basis, and accordingly we did not observe
all earthwork activities. However, based on the results of our observations and testing during
our site visits, it is our opinion that construction outlined above was prepared in general
conformance with the project specifications and the intent of our geotechnical
recommendations.
