Remarks: Bob called back regarding the issue of where the remote annunciator panel should be
located. He understands that the project has an approved set of fire alarm plans showing
the panel at the south entry that he reviewed. He further stated that the location of the
panel is not something reviewed by the City as the City only has responsibility for the fire
code items with a'B" after them and so he didn't review for panel location. Complicating
the matter is that rarely is there a building with two entrances like this one. The code
requires the panel in an approved location. Bob said that Eric should review for this and
since TVF&R are the ones who fight the fires, its their call as to where it goes. He said that
the City will be changing their review process with TVF&R vis a vis this issue to ensure
future projects do not have this problem. Bob dosed by saying that the location shown on
the approved plans is acceptable to the City and that we will need to get final decision
from Eric at TVF &R.
