SUBJECT: State Seal Programs — Pre- assembled Smoking Shelters
This correspondence con&me the following:
Ports->i Building Systems pre-assembled smoking shekels, Ikbricated tom 2" x 2" x .120 structural
ASTM AS00 Grade B welded tubing, cleat tempered safety glass and an exterior "wrisco" roof are
classified as open comtruction and do not require the state of Oregon Gold Seal.
If the ceiling of the shelter system was furnished 'timed' , i.e., a sending seem roof or other cellkqg
construction that would conceal inspection; or if the shelter is furnished from Aetory with electrical, the
sbekea would then be classified as "closed" comtroctdon and require the state of Oregon
Gold Seal.
The smoking shelters to be furnished to ESA Are clessitled es "open" construction.
