06- 02 -00: CTI representative, S. Stoner was onsite and inspected rebar placement at the following locations.
1. 8" CMU walls at building A generator enclosure 4' to 12' (top of wall). Rebar was placed in conformance
with correspondence dated 05 -17 -00 from structural engineer. Clean outs were provided and all cells have
been cleaned of excessive mortar fins. Bond beam reinforcement below 4' was previously inspected by
CTI (per masonry sub - contractor).
2. 8" CMU at C/8 -9 top of footing to 32" bond beam. One bond beam was placed in first course off footing.
Verticals were not in place as of yet. Bond beam steel per specifications.
06- 05 -00: CTI representative, D. Vick, was onsite and inspected reinforcing and embeds in basement wall at
A/5 -9 and 9 /A -D. A 4000 psi concrete mix #3510B was placed by bucket and consolidated by vibrator.
Observed (35) cubic yards being placed. Cast one set of (4) 6x12 samples. Reinforcing, embeds, placement and
concrete were in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
06- 05 -00: CTI representative, PG Sanetra, was onsite and observed grout of CMU walls in lower level of
parking structure (2) storage rooms up 2'8" and generator enclosure full height. Grout was mechanically
vibrated. All reinforcing as per plans. No samples.
