Report (613) I \ i + \ bu; c -6i- 2 %;_ . . . • June 18, 199 ,„,,,,,,„„o, , ,1t. CITY OF TIG LRS Architects OREGON 1121 SW Salmon #100 Portland, OR 97205 RE: Tigard Corporate Center Building Plan Review 12123 SW 69th PC #: 5 -79c BUP #: 99- 232,233,234 . Submittal documents for the above referenced project have been reviewed for conformance with the applicable 1998 Oregon Specialty Codes and other applicable codes and standards. The following comments are noted: I ACCESSIBILITY ' 1. Drawing A0.2 — Your plans indicate exits 106B and 117B are not accessible. Your explanation states that OSSC, Section 1106.2.4, Exception 1 applies. I disagree. Section 1106.2.4 has nothing to do with ADA requirements pertaining to 106B and 117B. OSSC, Section 1102 "Accessible Exit" applies, and the code requires all exits be accessible, and connected to an accessible route. In previous discussions with your firm, the city agreed on Building A, that an area of rescue assistance as an alternate for exit 117B. The reasoning for approving this alternate was for grade problems not created by your client. Revise your drawings accordingly. • 'STRUCTURAL 1. Your structural calculations appear not to have considered P -Delta on your columns. Provide details, OSSC, Section 1630.1.3. 2. Provide special inspection testing agency on the enclosed form. Please return to this writer. Please provide revised drawings as follows: a) 2 sets architectural /structural with Building A showing additional rescue assistance area. Please call me at (503) 639 -4171 if you have any questions. Sincerely, ob rt Poskin, CBO SENIOR PLANS EXAMINER i:lbldglptmsyMbup99232.doe 13125 SW Hall Blvd., Tigard, OR 97223 (503) 639 -4171 TDD (503) 684 -2772 CITY OF TIGARD A Program for Inspection Services and/or Material Testing Date: 6 /t ,19_ 99 —eoz3Z City of Tigard: Plan Ck.
