INSPECTOR: G. Seamster ICBO #5006921 -85
05- 10 -00: CTI representative was onsite and the following was noted.
1. Performed visual inspection of additional roof reinforcement under new mechanical unit
between grid line A- B/3 -5. Welding appears to conform to engineer revised detail 05 -03 -00
(see CTI report dated 05 -04 -00 for details), plans, specifications and AWS D1.1.
2. Verified torque value after installation of (2) %" diameter x 6" long Ramset wedge anchors at
175 ft/Ibs per ICBO report #1372. Anchors were reinstalled at grid lines A/3-4 roof line into
existing tilt up wall for joist ledger (reference CTI report dated 05- 04 -00). Wedge anchors
achieved a 4" minimum embedment per details of engineer revised detail 5 (see file for
detail).
