He noticed that there were no draft stops in the attic spaces of the three buildings. The attic spaces are combustible construction and the building is equipped with automatic fire sprinklers. The attic space is not sprinkled. My research of the UBC indicates draft stops would have been required every 9,000 square feet of area i and 100 lineal feet.
