Submittal documents for the above referenced project have been reviewed for
conformance with the applicable 1996 Oregon Specialty Codes and other applicable
codes and standards. The following comments are noted:
ENERGY COMPLIANCE
t " - in Lighting moved or replaced shall meet all requirements of the Oregon Non - Residential
V Energy Code.
1 ACCESSIBILITY
1. You are showing $26,422.00 for providing an accessible route, yet this does not
include a ramp for detail 3/2.2. Please provide bid documents substantiating this
cost.
2. You are showing $22,650.00 on accessible interior routes. Items required by
Chapter 11, cannot be included in the barrier removal plan. Provide details.
FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY
1. Lower level public corridor construction, use option °B ".
2. Drawing 4.4 between grid line D & E, in the elevator vestibule: add 20 minute
smoke gasketed doors. OSSC, Sections 1005.8.1 and 1005.10.
3. Elevator door in corridor 140: provide a 20 minute, smoke gasket door. OSSC,

1 ENVIRONMENTAL AIR
Your plans indicate a design build HVAC system. Be sure the outside air requirements
from OSSC, Chapter 12 are addressed.
MECHANICAL / SPRINKLER SYSTEM
Separate mechanical and sprinkler system applications and plans will be required.
