The City of Tigard Building Division has reviewed the submitted mechanical
plans for the above referenced address in accordance with the Oregon
Mechanical Specialty Code (OMSC), 2002 edition and the Oregon Structural
Specialty Code (OSSC), 1998 edition. The plans are approved subject to the
following conditions.
1. Units shall be permanently identified as to the area they serve. OMSC
304.10
2. A lighting fixture controlled by a switch located at the door to the
mechanical platform and a receptacle outlet shall be provided at or near
the appliance locations in accordance with the electrical code. OMSC
306.3.1
3. A copy of the approved plans shall be on the job site at all times and
available to the City of Tigard inspectors for inspection purposes. OSSC
Section 106.4.2.
4. Final inspection and approval by the City of Tigard Building Division is
required at completion of the project.

Mechanical Specialty Code (OMSC), 2002 edition and the Oregon Structural
Specialty Code (OSSC), 1998 edition. The following information is required prior
to issuance of the permit.
1. Please provide manufacturer's cut sheet for all proposed new equipment.
2. The plans do not show any return air provided to Conference Room 105.
3. Smoke shutdown is required for multiple air - handling systems with a
design capacity greater than 2,000 cfm. Please indicate the locations of
these. OMSC 606.
Please provide (2) copies of the above requested information so we may
complete our review.
