The indoor storage of materials or products shall not exceed the limitations imposed by the provisions of the building, fire, health and housing codes; 5) A home occupation shall not make necessary a change in the Uniform Building Code use classification of a dwelling unit. Any accessory building that is used must meet Uniform Building Code requirements and be in conformance with TDC Chapter 18.144 of this title; 6) More than one business activity constituting two or more home occupations shall be allowed on one property only if the combined floor space of the business activities does not exceed 25 percent of the combined gross floor area of the residence and accessory structure. As part of our business, we will periodically need to grind the sharpness off of the edge of mirrors. This involves using a belt sander to smooth the edges of the mirror. Depending on the size of the mirror, the sanding typically takes 15 minutes. All sanding will be done inside the garage with the doors shut to minimize noise. Sanding will only take place during normal business hours (gam -5pm). It is anticipated that such activity will occur no more than once a week; however, the frequency depends on the number of mirror jobs we receive and whether or not we can accomodate our customers with pre- fabricated mirrors. Bath Masters does not foresee any other activity that will generate noise on the premises. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to call.
