Question number 9 on the application form asked if you will have any signs or advertising visible from the exterior of the premises. Your answer "not at this time" indicates that in the future you may wish to place some form of advertising on the premises which may be visible from the exterior of the residence. The City of Tigard Community Development Code Section 18.142.050 states: "In residential zoning districts, there shall be no exterior indication of the home occupation; no exterior signs shall be used; no other on- site advertising visible from the exterior shall be used which informs the public of the use except the address of the home occupation may be displayed;" I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of this regulation before the City issues your Home Occupation Permit.
