The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
2007 edition; 2007 Oregon Fire Code and NFPA 13. Please provide the following conditions
prior to issuance of the permit.
1. Please verify the 2500 psf soil bearing capacity as noted in the design criteria section
of sheet 001 -G -010. No geotechnical report supporting this assumption was
provided with this plan set.
2. The design criteria section correctly identifies the structure as an occupancy category
III and assigns a seismic design importance factor "Ip- of 1.25. The precast panel
seismic connection calculations (sheet SB -1) uses an importance factor of 1.0. Please
verify the calculations are correct and revise any connections and details as necessary.
3. Please clarify the connection of the concrete beams to the concrete columns on
sheet 200 -S -503.
4. Detail reference to 200 -S -401 for the platform framing on sheet 200 -S -301 appears
to be incorrect. I believe the correct reference should be 200 -SM -401. Please confirm
and revise as necessary.
5. The reference call -out of 5/200 -S -502 on the left side of the electrical room on sheet
200 -S -301 appears to be incorrect. I believe the correct reference should be 2/200 -S-
504. Please confirm and revise as necessary.
6. Detail reference to 6/200 -S -502 on sheet 200 -S -302 appears to be incorrect. I believe
the correct reference should be 3/200 -S -504. Please confirm and revise as necessary.
7. Reference to 1/200-S-504 and section A /200 -S -504 on sheet 200 -SM -410 appear to
be incorrect. Please confirm and revise as necessary.
8. The elevation and section drawings on sheets 200 -S -201, 200 -S -202, 200 -S -203, and
200 -S -301 reference sheet 200 -S -130. There is no sheet 200 -S -130 in the plan set
provided. Please clarify and revise as necessary.

When responding, provide an itemized letter stating in what way each numbered
issue has been addressed in the revision.
When submitting revised drawings or additional information, please attach a copy of the
City of Tigard, Letter of Transmittal. The letter of transmittal assists the City of Tigard in
