DIR1988-00006 CITY OF TIGA RD OREGON August 2, 1988 Ms. Gloria Beven Activewear by Seana PO Box 230159 Tigard, OR 97223 (—/ Dear Ms. Beven: Thank you for your letter dated July 14, 1988, and received July 25th, concerning whether the sports clothing sales and manufacturing business you L___opose to locate on Main Street is allowed under the City zoning code. According to your letter, 75 percent of the floor space of your business would be devoted to retail sales with the remaining 25 percent occupied by the manufacturing of the clothing and accessory items to be sold on the premises. The zoning on the property is CBD. Our interpretation is that the predominant use that you are proposing is retail. Since retail is permitted outright under the provisions of the CBD zone, and since the manufacturing use is incidental to and related to the retail use, the business you propose is considered to be consistent with the oning of the property in question. Please call or write if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Duane Roberts Administrative Planner ke/6239D 13125 SW Hall Blvd., P.O.
