INTERPRETATION: ".. .1 space for every 60 square feet of gross floor area ..." Gross floor area is defined by
the Code as:
the gross horizontal area, under roof, of all floors of a building measured from the exterior
walls, excluding vents, shafts, courts, and space devoted to off - street parking.
Since this term is specifically defined, we cannot interpret it to exclude kitchens,
restrooms, offices, etc.
