Washington County - CA 10-0262 CDBG Grant - Garrett Street Sidewalks CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1
This amendment is made and entered into by and between, City of Tigard (Contractor") and
Washington County, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon ("County").
This amendment modifies that certain contract between the parties,the original contract number
being 09-0721.
The contract is amended as follows:
Part V. A. Project Description, Scope of Activities and Anticipated Accomplishments is revised
as attached.
Effective Date of Amendment: 04/06/10 , or upon final signature,whichever is later.
All other terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in full force and effect.

I. Proiect Number and Title:
CDBG Project#1123, Tigard, Garrett Street Sidewalks
lt. Description of: Project, Activities, Anticipated Accomplishments, Low and Moderate
or Other Target Group Beneficiaries.
A. Nature and Purpose of the Project:
Design and construction of sidewalks and associated storm drainage
facilities on the west side of Garrett Street to current city standards. This
section of the street contains many "gaps" along the street creating
hazards for both pedestrians and drivers. The project also includes an
asphalt overlay of the both sides of Garrett Street between Highway 99W
and SW Ash Avenue.
B. Proposed Location or Impact Area(s):
Garrett Street between Highway 99W and SW Ash Avenue, Tigard, OR
C. Duration/Timing of the Proiect:
August 4, 2009—August 3, 2010
D. Number of Low and Moderate Income or Target Group Beneficiaries:
193 Low to Moderate-income persons will be served.
E. Component Activities (CDBG vs. Others):
CDBG = $141,790 City = $24,770
F. Quantitative Projections-for CDBG Component Activities (in units, linear
feet, square feet, etc.) for all acquisitions, construction, reconstruction,
rehabilitation, etc.:
Undertake design and engineering in front of one residence; and construct
795 lineal feet of new in-fill sidewalks, upgrade to storm drainage catch
basins and associated storm drainage facilities along the west-side of
Garrett Street. Construct an asphalt overlay covering both sides of Garrett
Street from Highway 99W to SW Ash Avenue.
