Campaign speeches were given by Chelsy Xiloj (VP, School Outreach Officer), Scarlett Xiloj (Media
Officer), Molly Fast (VP, School Outreach Officer), Chloe Wilson (VP, Treasurer), and Shriya Myneni (VP,
School Outreach Officer)
Levy photoshoot – would have been nice to have more knowledge ahead of time of what it would entail
Location was unmarked, students did now know that it was a casual drop-in event (and it ended ahead
of the scheduled end time so one student missed the opportunity completely), and the photos were
action-oriented which involved reacting to a dramatized, serious, potentially triggering scene (eg.,
getting cited while driving, witnessing a domestic disturbance). Alex will relay to appropriate Tigard
teammates.
Youth government forum time frame changed due to NLCC Conference (Mar 12-15?)
1.5-2 hours
Food and potential childcare
General audience but hopefully good youth turn out
Tie in with library council, books and research for forum
9th-23rd scholastic journalism week (potential tie in with ttlc?)
Would like to connect teen library council and TYAC socially as well
