RESOLUTION NO. 23- 3 7
A RESOLUTION RE-APPOINTING BIJETA CHOUDHURY AS A VOTING MEMBER, RE-
APPOINTING ALTERNATE COMMISSIONER DAN MURPHY AS A VOTING MEMBER, AND
APPOINTING ZACHARY CLAIRMONT AND APRIL SABBE AS ALTERNA 1'E NON-VOTING
MEMBERS OF THE TIGARD PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Tigard City Council established the Planning Commission to review land use and transportation
policy proposals; to advise City Council on updates to the Tigard Comprehensive Plan, Tigard Community
Development Code,and Tigard Zoning Map; and
WHEREAS, there are two vacancies for voting members, and two vacancies for alternate non-voting members
on the Planning Commission;and
WHEREAS, Bijeta Choudhury, Dan Murphy, Zachary Clairmont and April Sabbe applied for appointments;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that Council re-appoint Bijeta Choudhury and Dan Murphy as voting
members;and appoint Zachary Clairmont and April Sabbe as alternate non-voting members.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: After completing an unexpired partial term, Bijeta Choudhury is re-appointed to Planning
Commission as a full voting member for a 4-year term, effective January 1, 2024 through
December 31,2027.
SECTION 2: Former non-voting Alternate Dan Murphy is re-appointed to Planning Commission as a full
voting member for a 4-year term,effective January 1,2024 through December 31,2027.
SECTION 3: Zachary Clairmont and April Sabbe are appointed to Planning Commission as non-voting
alternate members for 2-year terms, each effective January 1, 2024 through December 31,
2025.
SECTION 4: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
