• Regular business:
Surprise visit from Mayor Lueb and Councilor Wolf!:
• They are looking for TYAC members to help in sharing information on an upcoming levy for the
Police Department.
• Levy would not increase taxes, but maintain them in order to maintain our city's police force
• TYAC's involvement may include: sharing information, knocking on doors, taking photos with school
SRO, with potential for a leadership position.
• More info to come!
Regular Business:
• Members decided to participate in the Trunk-or-Treat Halloween event with the Good Neighbor
Center! This event will be held on Friday, October 27th from 3:30-6:30pm. More information will
come at our next meeting.
• Overview on Welcome meeting for new members (coming on Monday, October 2nd). Reminder:
this will be an extended meeting and go until 6:30pm. Agenda and reminder to be sent out soon.
• Alex provided information on TYAC participation in a Get Out The Vote event, likely to happen
sometime around February. More information to come.
• Madi, Aréana, and Chelsy decided to run a TYAC table at Tigard High's Club Rush this week (which
went great)!
• Members decided to take on supply drives through the schools sometime this year to support
education and houselessness in the community.
