Recap of movies in the park: colour pages were a hit! Now that we have a budget we no longer
need to sell snacks
Our next movies in the park August 11th at 6:30 - 8:30pm

Alex will be absent at next TYAC meeting – Nicole Hendrix will lead
Potential focus areas in 2023-2024:
Fundraising may be more difficult from City side, instead we should focus on volunteering for
organizations.
Houselessness:
Good Neighbour Centre
Children:
Race or run for charity / kids
Randall's children hospital
Education:
Help a teacher - drive for supplies
Asking around to see what would be useful
Small businesses:
Help market small business by making advertisement and posting on our social media
Next company at the opportunity cafe
Council and other connections:
Madi as focus point for connection with council
Encourage members to go to council meeting
Council to ask more questions!! We are ready and we want it!
Adding in a rotation for member to show up to council meeting
Next Tigard council meeting – tomorrow: Ebikes, Fireworks - safety / regulations
Rose Festival Queen opportunities?
Miss Oregon - panel for aspiring political youths (works for Sen. Merkeley)
Asking her to show up for a mini Q and A around late sept-oct
