RESOLUTION NO. 22-33
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING AISHIKI NAG, RACHEL WU, SARAH BERG, AND NATALIA
JACQUEZ AND APPOINTING LAURA TAYLOR, AREANA MANN, MADI VOGEL, ARUSHI
MITRA, GRACIE WEBB, HENRY CASTILLO, KARLA REYES, ANGELA AGUILAR, CARMEN
BARTOLETTA, ZACHARY CLAIRMONT, PAYTON HUGHES, AYLA LENIGER, SCARLETT
XILOJ, CHELSY XILOJ, TAYLOR TO, ELLIE BOHNSTEDT, CHELSEA TRUJILLO MAZON, AND
LONDON GAMBILL AS VOTING MEMBERS TO THE TIGARD YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Tigard City Council established the Tigard Youth Advisory Council in 2003 as "a student
volunteer group whose mission is to empower,improve,and connect the lives of Tigard youth";and
WHEREAS, the Tigard Youth Advisory Council's guiding principles include providing opportunities for
members to serve their community, provide advocacy on teen issues on behalf of other youth, and feel valued,
respected,and safe;and
WHEREAS,the Tigard Youth Advisory Council acts as an advisory body to the Tigard City Council and works
with the Mayor, City Council, City departments, Chamber of Commerce, civic clubs, and other community
organizations to create civic engagement opportunities for local youth;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Aishiki Nag,Rachel Wu, Sarah Berg,Natalia Jacquez,Laura Taylor,Areana Mann,Madi Vogel,
Arushi Mitra, Gracie Webb, Henry Castillo, Karla Reyes,Angela Aguilar, Carmen Bartoletta,
Zachary Clairmont,Payton Hughes,Ayla Leniger,Scarlett Xiloj, Chelsy Xiloj,Taylor To,Ellie
Bohnstedt, Chelsea Trujillo Mazon, and London Gambill are appointed to Tigard Youth
Advisory Council as voting members for a one-year term, effective September 19, 2022
through September 19,2023.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
PASSED: This 22nd day of November 2022.
