TIGARD CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION NO. 22- 3.a.
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CRISTINA BOWERMAN, BIJETA CHOUDHURY, NATHAN C.
JACKSON,AHSHA MIRANDA, AND KESHAVAN TIRUVALLUR AS VOTING MEMBERS OF THE
TIGARD PLANNING COMMISSION, AND DAN MURPHY AS AN ALTERNATE NON-VOTING
MEMBER.
WHEREAS, there are five vacancies for voting members, and one vacancy for an alternate non-voting member
on the Planning Commission;and
WHEREAS, Cristina Bowerman, Bijeta Choudhury, Nathan C. Jackson, Ahsha Miranda, Dan Murphy, and
Keshavan Tiruvallur applied for appointments;and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee recommends that Council appoint Cristina
Bowerman, Nathan C.Jackson, Ahsha Miranda, and Keshavan Tiruvallur as voting members with full terms;
appoint Bijeta Choudhury to fill a partial term;and appoint Dan Murphy as a non-voting alternate member.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Cristina Bowerman, Nathan C. Jackson, Ahsha Miranda, and Keshavan Tiruvallur are
appointed to the Planning Commission as voting members to fill terms that will expire
December 31,2026.
SECTION 2: Bijeta Choudhury is appointed to the Planning Commission as a voting member to fill a term
that will expire December 31,2023.
SECTION 3: Dan Murphy is appointed to the Planning Commission as an alternate member to fill a term
that will expire December 31,2024.
SECTION 4: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
