WELLNESS COMMITTEE
FEBRUARY 14,2019(8:30-9:30 AM)

In Attendance: Louis, Kelly, Meagan, Brady, Brian, Kathleen, Ken,Jennifer. Absent: Dana
■ Review of 1st Qtr Activities (15 Minutes) Louis
* Articles-Seemed to go over pretty well. Not a lot of feedback.
* GH Day-General consensus is people enjoyed the GH day event and the Wellness
Committee participation. Felt like there were healthier options.
* Plan for March: Loius & Ken will be doing a Fruit &Veggie challenge via Hubbub. They'll
get that set up and also include logon instructions.
To wrap up the quarter instead of doing challenge prizes, they'd like to do a healthy snack
for all departments using the funds designated for prizes. They need to talk with Dana about
that amount.
■ 2nd Quarter-Wellness Fair (15 Minutes)
* Time of fair: There was some discussion of changing the time. Discussed maybe starting &
ending slightly later. Discussed issues with having vendors there for too long and over
lunch. Also missing early morning staff like PW or PD. Discussed going shorter as it felt
like their weren't a lot of attendees after 10:30. Problem with that is Library staff that
* Discussion of vendors: We reviewed the list of vendors from last time. Took a few off and
added some more. We'll touch bases at the next meeting about how contact looks for the
vedors.
* Sign Up for Vendor Contact: Everyone signed up for some tasks. See spreadsheet for 2019
Wellness Fair.
* Review Use of Spreadsheet &Vendor Letter: We reviewed spreadsheet &vendor letter.
Jennifer will make some updates and send it out.
■ Calendars for Posting: Everyone has some calendars for posting within their groups.
