HOW TO CREATE KINDNESS AND CULTIVATE COMPASSION
It all started with a single stone on a beach in Cape Cod and now spans the globe. The Kindness Rocks Project,
founded by Megan Murphy, is based on the profound truth that one message at the right moment can change
someone's day, their outlook, and, indeed, their whole life. The messages on these thoughtful stones take
many forms: gratitude, affirmations, encouragement, and offers of hope—all signposts along the way for
someone to find at exactly the right time.
The Wellness Committee is completely on-board with this idea and will soon begin randomly sharing a select
number of these hand-painted stones. Be on the look-out; one just may appear in your workspace. Not
everyone will receive a rock- and if you're one of the recipients, please feel free to keep it. But also feel free
to enjoy its message and then pass along to a co-worker who may find it perfect for where they're at. It's
completely up to you! But whether you receive a rock or not, help make this world a better place by
celebrating November 13, World Kindness Day. Make it a point to promote good deeds and pledge acts of
kindness to others this month - and always. "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted..."

Rock photo to be included in our wrap-up flyer. Offer opportunity to participate in a rock painting
