REPORT FROM COMMUNICATIONS TEAM
• STATUS OF CALENDAR-Discussed current status. We have the dates worked out and are
working with communications to have something in print by Jan 1 for both the
upcoming year, and the first quarter. Sherrie will get onsite Voya dates.
• STATUS OF LOGO-We selected a new logo for the first option of the walking person
which we will make "crisper".
UPDATE ON 1ST QUARTER WELLNESS PROGRAM-We have a total budget of$4000 for fiscal year.
• TRAINING—DOREEN-Dates look good for training. Some working through of issues. We
discussed the schedule and the impact. We are going to confirm the dates of the training on Jan
23rd and Jan 25ffi. Doreen has done a lot of work to try and get different times scheduled. Will
work with Shelly on times for PD.
We will have some paper fliers published with specific training dates which may come from
communications & Design or our communications team may create depending on timing.
• ACTIVITY—LOUIS-Potluck with CD Groundhog day, Tuesday 2/7. Wellness committee will be
promoting with the information provided, Some activities and gift bags. Walkability map. Louis
will give us advance notice about what assistance is needed.
• ARTICLE—NANCY-Will work on what that needs to be and will consider both electronic and
print.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2016
• COMMITTEE INPUT-Sherrie put together a list of events. Discussion of positive feedback. Fruit
basket was really popular. Will add to Sherrie's list. If you think of something else, please
forward to her.
• REPORT FOR LEADERSHIP TEAM-Discussed presenting a report that Sherrie will pull
together. Also discussed budget and the option of having a $500 quarterly budget with
the exception of Wellness fair. Some discussion of budget and how we'll manage that.
