RESOLUTION NO. 22-0�(
A RESOLUTION RE-APPOINTING BHUSHAN GUPTA AND APPOINTING ALIREZA HADDADI,
ISAIAH JACKMAN, JAIRAJ SINGH, HEIDI DIXON, BEJITA CHOUDHURY, ISRAEL JACQUEZ,
AND ISABELA ROMERO AS MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE FOR COlY MINITY
ENGAGEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Committee for Community Engagement (CCE) currently has seven standing members, with
eight vacancies to be filled by eligible applicants who reside, own property, own business or work with the City
of Tigard's Urban Service Boundary;and
WHEREAS,Councilor Liz Newton, CCE Chair Dave Hanna,and team liaison Nicole Hendrix interviewed ten
applicants for committee vacancies and recommend that Council re-appoint Bhushan Gupta and appoint
Alireza Haddadi, Isaiah Jackman, Jairaj Singh, Heidi Dixon, Bejita Choudhury, Israel Jacquez, and Isabela
Romero;and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that.
SECTION 1: Bhushan Gupta is re-appointed to the Committee for Community Engagement to serve a
term that will expire December 31,2026,
SECTION 2: Alireza Haddadi, Isaiah Jackman, Jairaj Singh, and Heidi Dixon are appointed to the
Committee for Community Engagement with a term that will expire December 31,2026.
SECTION 3: Bejita Choudhury and Israel Jacquez are appointed to the Committee for Community
Engagement with a term that will expire December 31,2025.
SECTION 4: Isabela Romero is appointed to the Committee for Community Engagement with a term that
will.expire December 31,2023.
SECTION 5: 'Phis resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
