Hi James, Thank you for your submittal. I was out on vacation, and we were closed last week due to the fires. We will need additional information before we can proceed with our review. Please see below: • What is the valuation? • How many parking spaces will there be? Due to the temporary nature of this drive-in cinema, I believe our Planning Department will not need a site plan that is drawn to scale. We should be able to proceed with what you have submitted. The fees can be paid online at https://aca-prod.accela.com/TIGARD/Welcome.aspx by searching for the permit record number BUP2020-00219 under the Building tab. Please allow 4-8 weeks for processing. It is not necessary to contact us regarding the status of your permit as this will further delay the process. The permit technicians will contact you at each step when the permit is ready to issue and with instructions to pay the remaining permit fees due at that time. Currently we planned on putting a 47' x 26' truss structure that would stay up for the event, which we would do nightly Thurs - Sunday for the next few months. Another option is to put up an inflatable screen, which would blow up every night and deflate after the event. The size being just about the same 47' x 25'. We wanted know if we needed to have a building permit for the inflatable.
