Report#: 310 Arrival: 0900 Departure: 0915 — Weather: i Sunny, 50s Permit#: TBD Site Visit Requested By: Rob Howser(TM) Met With (on site): Rob Howser Purpose: Observe Lot 227 Subgrade — T Outstanding Issues: Upon arrival, I was informed by Rob (TM)that crew had prepared subgrade for building within lot 227. I was informed that crews had prepared subgrade approx. 1 month ago. Subgrade was covered with a thin layer of crushed rock. Using a%"diameter steel foundation rod, I probed the subgrade. Resistance to penetration indicated stiff subgrade conditions. I observed that vegetation had begun to form within the subgrade for lot 227. We recommend that vegetation be removed for within the building blueprint. Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion lot 227 subgrade observed today, expect for vegetation within the subgrade, have been prepared in general accordance with project requirements and our geotechnical recommendations. Subgrade under the form work consisted of brown silt. Subgrade for lot 227 had also been prepared but no form work was present, it also consisted of brown silt. Using a A" steel foundation probe, I evaluated the relative consistency of the subgrade beneath the form work and open subgrade. Soils within the building footprints and beneath the form work for lot 226 were generally stiff to medium stiff where probed. • Based on our observations, it is our opinion the subgrade observed for Lot 226 and 227 observed today, as indicated on the attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
