DOWNTOWN TIGARD COMMITTEE MINUTES
NOTE CHANGE OF DATE FOR NEXT MEETING:
NEXT MEETING TO BE HELD AUGUST 20, 1980 7:30 p.m. AT THE DURHAM WASTE TREATMENT PLANT.
AUGUST 13, 1980 MEETING C A N C E L L E D.
IN ATTENDANCE: Roger Brown, David Dresser, J. Allan Paterson, Don Hanson,
Dick Kadel, Carol Jones, Jean Halderson -
Takahasin in attendance for Madalyn Utz -
Phil Hirl absent -
A general discussion was held concerning the perceived "problems" relative
to Downtown.
The consensus of the group was that we have identified the problems (traffic
circulation, the need for a civic center, parking, identity, etc.) and should
proceed to a solution.
Staff was directed to contact Noel Kline , League of Oregon Cities, for a
presentation on Urban Renewal Agency formation on August 13th. Chairperson
Dresser was to line up financial persons for a later presentation.
The next meeting will be held August 20th at the Durham Waste Treatment Plant
with Mr. Noel Kline. Please note the change in meeting date. Mr. Kline
could only be here then.
