12/29/1982 - Minutes NPO #3 Meeting Minutes

7:30 P.M.
December 29, 1982
1. Call to order at 7:45 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: Mortenson, Bledsoe, Horowitz, Ramsdell & Porter.
Excuses absent were Fyre and Moonier.
3. The NPO reviewed drafts proposed by Herman Porter and Bob Bledsoe for
the Comprehensive Plan: Special concerns, Chapter 11. By unanimous
vote, the two drafts were consolidated and modified. The secretary will
prepare this section for presentation to the planning commission and
council.
4. The secretary showed the NPO's recommendations for Public Facilities in
typed form for those who did not have copies yet. Also the final draft
of recommendations for Natural Features & Open Spaces and the preliminary
draft of Transportation (only the items concluded in meeting of December
14, 1982) were reviewed and approved.
5. NPO #3 approved several more recommended changes to the Transportation
element. These, and the previously approved recommended changes, will
be typed by the secretary for presentation to the planning commission
and council.
6. Next meeting will be January 5th at 7:30 P.M. The main agenda items will
be Housing, Urbanization, and review of the Comprehensive Plan and
Development District Map. City Hall will probably not be available, since
other NPO's are meeting then.
