I was directed to the location of building 13 (lots 77-81) where crews had prepared subgrade for the building slab (see attached site plan). I observed subgrade to consist of brown silt with trace gravel and sand. Resistance to penetration with%"diameter steel foundation probe indicates stiff conditions. Based on our observations and probing, it is our opinion that the subgrade observed today, as indicated on the attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
