Purpose: Observe Lot 11 Subgrade
Outstanding Issues: Park Slope Failure
Upon arrival, I observed the subgrade within lot 11 had been prepared. At time of arrival form boards and rebar had
been placed within footing locations. Subgrade generally consisted of brown silt and had been covered with a thin
layer(appx 1 in) of recycled crushed concrete. I used a%"diameter steel foundation probe to evaluate the
G consistency of the footing subgrade. Resistance to penetration generally indicates stiff to medium stiff subgrade
conditions.
Based on our observation and probing, it is our opinion that footing subgrade within lot 11 observed today, and
where indicated on the attached site plan, has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical
recommendations.
