Minutes of April 10, 2006 meeting

May 2006 Tree Board Appointees present Tony Tycer, Dennis Sizemore
1. Meeting was called to order at 6:35 P.M.
2. Minutes of March 13, 2006 meeting not approved because a quorum was
not present.
3. City updates
a. Metro's Nature in the Neighborhoods Grant
b. SOLV's Clean & Green volunteer event will be held on Saturday,
April 22, 2006 along Derry Dell Creek. Invasive plant removal and
native plant mulching will be the events in Tigard
c. Subdivision issue updates — Sunrise Lane, Longstaff and Arlington
Heights..
d. Arbor Day will be held at C.F. Tigard Elementary School on
Thursday, April 13, 2006.
4. Janet Gillis talked about a presentation that she and fellow-board member
Robert Cancelosi did at the library on the Heritage Tree Program.
5. Costco parking lot. Discussed plan for approaching the management staff
at the store. Also talked about how the plan for replanting the parking lot
will be executed, including who the partners will be.
