Minutes of September 21, 2004 meeting
Members present: Mr. Tinnin, Mr. Cancelosi, Mr. Haack, Mr. Callan, Mrs.
Gillis
Staff Present: Matt Stine, Brian Rager, Dick Bewersdorff
Guests Present: John Frewing
1. Meeting was called to order at 6:30 P.M.
2. Minutes from August meeting approved.
3. City updates:
a. Volunteer tree planting on Saturday, October 16, 2004. Event will
be at Bonita Park. We will plant street tree and trees in the natural
area long the creek.
b. Street Tree Planting Program.
i. Friends of Trees
c. Chapter 18- Development Code.
d. Ecosystem restoration/enhancement.
i. Tualatin Riverkeepers
ii. Friend of Trees
4. Chapter 18 of Tigard Municipal Code discussion.
a. Group discussion; including Mr. Rager and Mr. Bewersdorff
b. Board members to continue review 18.790 and 18.745 to consider
changes, improvements, etc.
5. Set agenda for next meeting to be held October 11, 2004:
a. Minutes
b. City updates- Matt Stine
c. Chapter 18 discussion
6. Meeting adjourned 7:55 P.M.
